Communications

The Communications Department supports schools, staff, and families by ensuring consistent, accurate, and timely information across the district. Please contact the Communications Coordinator in the following situations:

Media & Press

• Notify the Communications Department immediately if a reporter, photographer, or other member of the press requests access to campus or attends an event.

• All press inquiries should be directed through the Communications Department.

Crisis & Sensitive Issues

• Consult the Communications Department in the event of a crisis, emergency, or sensitive issue that may require a letter home to families.

• Centralized messaging helps address concerns, provide accurate information, and prevent the spread of rumors.

Platforms & Tools

• The Communications Department oversees ParentSquare and the district/school websites (Finalsite).

• Each school site has a designated staff member responsible for updating its ParentSquare and website content.

• The Communications Coordinator can:

  • Provide training and other support when needed

  • Assign admin accounts for ParentSquare and Finalsite

Publicity & Promotion

• Internal event flyers or school news can be sent to the Communications Coordinator for consideration in districtwide communications, including:

  • ParentSquare messages

  • Social media posts

  • District website news

Branding & Style Guidelines

• Consistent branding strengthens district identity and public trust.

• Approved district logos and digital letterhead are available for download on this page.

• Please use these official materials for all flyers, presentations, and external communications.

• For questions on style, formatting, or how to apply branding, contact the Communications Coordinator.
