MHUSD is dedicated to promoting parent/guardian, family and community engagement in education, to support a shared vision of student achievement.
Our Family and Community Engagement Center (FACE) will serve as a hub for resources and events for our families and community partners. The FACE Center will not replace, but instead enhance the services and resources offered at the schools.
Check back often as we develop and release new programs.

Family and Community Engagement Plan
2024-2028
At the September 25, 2025 Board of Education meeting, Morgan Hill Unified School District (MHUSD) unveiled its new Family and Community Engagement (FACE) Plan, a comprehensive framework designed to strengthen partnerships among families, schools, and the community. The plan, which will guide district efforts through 2028, reflects MHUSD’s belief that family engagement is a shared responsibility and a cornerstone of student success.
Developed collaboratively during the 2023–24 school year, the FACE Plan brought together parents, teachers, administrators, and community liaisons to shape a vision rooted in inclusion, respect, and empathy. Using research-based strategies from the National Association for Family, School, and Community Engagement, the plan centers on the idea that authentic partnerships between home and school nurture both academic growth and social-emotional wellness.
The plan outlines six high-impact strategies, each with measurable outcomes and actions to be implemented districtwide. These strategies include: building connections, sharing information, modeling and learning together, listening and responding, incorporating culture, and aligning efforts.
