Local Control Accountability Plan

The Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) is an important component of the Local Control Funding Formula (LCFF). Under LCFF, local governing boards determine the allocation of funding for students needs. 

The LCAP is a three-year plan developed by the district that describes the goals, actions, services, and expenditures to support positive student outcomes as they pertain to state and local priorities. The LCAP must be updated annually by July 1 and approved by the Board of Trustees. The LCAP is a tool used by local educational agencies (LEAs) to set goals, develop plans, determine what resources are needed and how they will be allocated to meet their local needs. The LCAP was approved by the Board. The LCAP is the basis for District budget expenditures. The 2024-27 Comprehensive Support and Improvement Plan (CSI) is included in the LCAP.

LCAP 2025-26 Draft and Public Comments

The draft of the 2025-26 Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) and the LCAP Budget Overview for Parents have been posted on the MHUSD LCAP webpage. Copies of these two documents are also available for review at the District Office.  

Below is the link to the LCAP draft and the LCAP Budget Overview for Parents. The LCAP draft was posted for public review and comment June 6, 2025. Comments will help us finalize the LCAP for presentation and Board action on June 24, 2025. Use the link below to complete the Public Comment/Questions Survey.

Borrador del LCAP y Comentarios Públicos

El borrador del Plan de Responsabilidad y Control Local (LCAP) de 2025 y la descripción general del presupuesto del LCAP para padres se han publicado en la página web del LCAP de MHUSD. Copias de estos dos documentos también están disponibles para su revisión en la Oficina del Distrito.  

A continuación se muestra el enlace al borrador del LCAP y a la descripción general del presupuesto del LCAP para padres. El borrador del LCAP se publico para revisión y comentarios públicos  el 6 de junio de 2025. Sus comentarios nos ayudaron a finalizar el LCAP para su presentación y acción de la Junta el 24 de junio de 2025. Utilice el enlace a continuación para completar la encuesta de comentarios/preguntas del público.
