Last night the Morgan Hill Unified Board of Education approved the return to in-person instruction date of April 12, 2021. The proposed date of March 22, which had been approved last month, was adjusted to align with reopening conditions outlined previously. All conditions to reopen, including achieving Red Tier designation according to the Blueprint for a Safer Economy and the availability of both COVID-19 vaccines for all teachers, have been met. The presentation shared by Superintendent Betando during the meeting is included here.
The District will be sending out a commitment form to all parents, which will allow parents to choose to remain in distance learning or return to in-person instruction on April 12. Specific information regarding reopening will be communicated by each school.
