We are pleased to announce that Mickey Valella has been selected as an Assistant Principal for Ann Sobrato High School.
Mickey has taught Math for Sobrato High School since 2007. She has lead as chair of the math department for the last five years and has served as the WASC co-chair. Mickey says, I am a problem solver and am able to foresee the effects of decisions that are made at the school level. I believe in offering solutions rather than only finding problems, as well as stepping up to lead without being asked." Mickey is eager to begin her new position and take on a role that can influence the school at large. She says, "I am committed to maintaining the vision of the founders of Sobrato,especially during this time of uncertainty and change."
