Alex Aasen has been a dedicated member of the Morgan Hill community for 18 years, serving as a social studies teacher, coach, assistant principal, and principal at Martin Murphy Middle School and, most recently, San Martin Gwinn. Throughout his career, he has worked closely with students, families, and staff to foster strong, collaborative learning environments where all students can thrive.
Alex has also led key initiatives to improve school culture and student success, including Professional Learning Communities (PLCs), Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS), and data-driven instruction. He is excited to bring his leadership experience and passion for education to the Morgan Hill Unified School District Human Resources Department.
